Pressure Equipment

Pressure Vessel

We specialize in fabricating custom industrial pressure vessels, stripper columns, pressure reactors, heat exchangers, process equipment, distillation towers, knockout drums, oil and gas pressure vessels, cyclonic separation vessels, storage vessels and filtration units made from carbon steel, stainless steel, low-alloy steel and high-alloy steel and other materials.

We can apply powder or chemical resistant coatings to the outside or inside of the tanks and pressure vessels that we engineer, design and manufacture as per SSPC (Society for Protective Coatings) standards.

We can equip pressure vessels with numerous features and design options. We can also design a system around your pressure vessel to include pumps, pressure/temperature measuring device and lifting/filling equipment.

Reactors

A reactor is a complex device in which heat transfer, mass transfer, diffusion and friction may occur along with chemical processes / reaction with the provision of safety and controls. The design of a chemical reactor is the most important factor in determining the overall process economics.

A basic reactor includes a shell, a heating or cooling device, two or more product inlet ports and one outlet port. Some reactors may also have a mixer / agitator. Internals include baffles that direct flow in a spiral pattern around the jacket, and agitating nozzles that cause high turbulence at the point where the fluid is introduced into the jacket.

Additional Features

Jacketed Plain jackets, Limpet coils, Dimple jackets
Agitator Paddle, Anchor, Turbine, Propeller, Helical
Sealing Gland in Stuffing Box, Mechanical seal
Support Leg support, Lug support, Skirt ring

Heat Exchangers

A heat exchanger is used to transfer thermal energy (enthalpy) between two or more fluids and can be classified according to their construction as Tubular, Plate type, Extended surface and Regenerative.

Shell and tube heat exchanger in their various construction are probably the most widespread and commonly used basic heat exchanger configuration in the process industries. It is relatively easy to construct in a wide range of sizes and which is mechanically rugged enough to withstand normal shop fabrication stresses, shipping and field erection stresses, and normal operation conditions. There are many modifications of the basic configuration, which can be used to solve special problems.

Thermal design engineers complement Divine Engineerings’ mechanical engineering staff in our heat exchanger design process. They employ advanced computer simulations using latest Simulation software, Compress and AutoCAD. We can tackle any custom application with a unique heat exchanger design. Our engineering department develops the most cost effective heat transfer equipment possible for your specific job requirements.

Hoppers, Bins and Silos

Hoppers, bins and silos are used for storing bulk materials and are available in a variety of sizes, shapes, and materials of construction. Silos are typically designed for storing large volumes and are cylindrical in shape with a cone or mass-flow bottom. Bins are used for storing smaller volumes of bulk materials and typically handle surge capacities. Hoppers are similar to bins except with an open top. Storage capacities up to 10,000 cubic feet can easily be handled with hoppers, bins and silos.

Hoppers, bins and silos are used in the wastewater treatment, cement, chemical, mining and aggregate industries for storing many bulk materials. We can design silos complete with structural support steel and access platforms from 300 cubic feet to 17,500 cubic feet in storage capacity. All storage designs are professionally engineered to meet the customers’ requirements for performance, structural, and accessibility. Here, we offer support of column bracings, manhole on top of silo, railing, cage ladder support as well as provision for other silo accessories as per the requirement of customers.

Tanks / Drums

We produce a variety of shop-built carbon steel and stainless steel storage tanks and drums. Rectangular open top or fully enclosed tanks, typically for water storage or water filtration tanks, are manufactured to customer requirements.

Cylindrical tanks and drums, also manufactured to customer requirements, again either open top or fully enclosed and vented, vertical or horizontal. Shop-built units can vary from small 1m diameter drums right up to 4.2m diameter by 10m or even 15m in height; the largest of these units can store over 200,000 litres.
